When the winter returns

In spring winter attempted to return
The snow almost reached the fresh green
The Niesen once again is all covered in white
A few days later the snow reached the bottom of the valley.
But within just 24 hours the snow has melted again
After 48 hours the snow has retreated to 2000m above sea level.
